It's recital time at the Harbor School of Music & Dance!

We have information about recitals for both music and dance students in this email, but let's start out by saying that all recitals are FREE and open to the public. Come and watch any of the recitals listed and invite friends and family to watch yours too!

DANCE STUDENTS: There are hair tutorials and make up tutorials available for recital prep. Watch the Hair Tutorial here and the Make Up Tutorial here. YES, even young dancers and male dancers should wear make up. It is so we can see their faces under all those bright lights. We have rehearsals on May 16, May 17, and May 18. Details regarding rehearsal times and attire can be found here. The Spring Dance Recital is Sunday, May 19. Audience members should be seated by 3:00 p.m. Parents are expected to help backstage during the dress rehearsal and show. All helpers are expected to trade out positions throughout the show so that we can all see our children dance. This is a team effort, folks and yes we do want dads too.

MUSIC STUDENTS: There is a Recital Prep Class this Saturday, May 11 at 2:00 PM. Sign up here.

Tim's guitar students and their siblings are scheduled for a 1:00 PM recital. Sarah's students and their siblings are scheduled for a 2:30 PM recital. Joel and Tia's students are in all three recitals, so be sure to check your times. ALL music students should check the Recital Page and RSVP for their times. Remember to bring your music and instrument (if appropriate) and arrive 15 minutes prior to your recital time, in dress attire.

Registration is open for all new and returning students at the Harbor School of Music & Dance. Make your appointment today to sign up your student for their 2019-20 School Year performing arts program.

Summer Registration is ALL ONLINE this year. Visit www.myhsmd.com/summer-session to enroll in Music Lessons, The Mini Dance Intensive and Fairytale Dance Camp at HSMD.
