Homer Children's Choir

The Homer Children's Choir is offered as an accessible and inclusive opportunity for children's music and vocal education. Open to students in 1st through 6th grade, the choir meets weekly on Wednesdays at the Harbor School.

Cost: Free to the public. The Harbor School Choir is supported by local donors.​​
Choir Director, Ms. Kjirsten Swanson, is a licensed teacher with the state of Alaska in addition to being an accomplished vocalist. Ms. KJ incorporates music from a variety of cultures, style and genres in order to expand her students' knowledge of worldwide choral traditions while encouraging the development of strong vocal technique and knowledge of music fundamentals.
