Programs Tailor Made for All Needs
The Homer Children's Choir and Youth Chorus
For Elementary and Middle School students, the Children's Choir offers an introduction to choral music through popular, contemporary, classic, sacred and patriotic songs. With an emphasis on fundamental vocal skills, the Homer Children's Choir is open to all kids grade 1 to 8. For students who are able and willing to extend their choral skill-set, we offer the Youth Chorus, an audition-only program designed to work with the Children's Choir in "harmony."
Private Music Lessons
Private music instruction is offered in piano, violin, guitar, electric bass, flute, drums, voice and ukulele. With a uniquely comprehensive approach, we encourage a variety of teaching methods to meet a variety of learning styles. In addition to music fundamentals incorporated into our curriculum, we also offer college preparatory music theory for motivated learners.
Dance Classes
Creative Movement, Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern! We offer a classes in multiple disciplines and for a variety of ages. From emphasizing early childhood development, to encouraging body-positive self-confidence, to exploring the classics of choreography, dance students at the Harbor School flourish in every dance style we offer.
Summer Camps
Make the most of the short Alaskan summer by joining one of our week-long summer camps. With an ever-changing focus each week of the summer, there is sure to be a camp for your kid. This year, we offer ballet, hip hop, singing, sewing and more!
